Your role: be our eyes inside China's factories. Represent overseas brands. Get paid well. Work on your terms.

We connect overseas brands with trusted people on the ground in China.

FactoryLens Agency is an Australian-based agency that helps brands, importers, and ecommerce businesses who manufacture in China — but can't physically be there themselves.

We send local representatives to visit factories, inspect products, capture behind-the-scenes content, and report back to our clients. Our clients are Shopify store owners, Amazon sellers, clothing brands, and importers around the world.

We're now building our China network. We're looking for professional, reliable, English-communicating people across key manufacturing cities to join us as trained subcontractors.

🌏

Australian-founded, China-powered

Our management team is based in Australia. Our work happens inside China's factories. You bridge the gap.

🗓️

Flexible, project-based work

Common questions

Not necessarily. We value reliability, professionalism, and good communication above all. We provide full training, checklists, and templates for every job. If you have relevant experience it's a plus, but it's not required for all roles.
Pay varies by job type, city, and complexity. Factory visits typically pay USD $60–150 per visit. Inspections range from USD $50–120. Content shoots can earn more depending on scope. All rates are agreed before the job is confirmed.
Payments are made in USD via bank transfer, PayPal, or Wise after job completion and approval. Payment timelines and methods are confirmed in your contractor agreement.
You need to be able to communicate clearly with our Australian team via written messages (WeChat, WhatsApp, or email). Fluency is preferred but intermediate written English is acceptable for most roles. Translator roles do require strong English.
No — this is project-based, flexible subcontract work. Most contractors start with occasional jobs and take on more work as they build their track record with us. Many of our subcontractors have other jobs or businesses alongside their FactoryLens work.
Apply anyway and select "Other" as your city. We're expanding rapidly and may have upcoming jobs in your area, or we may add your city to our network soon.
Yes. All approved subcontractors sign a straightforward contractor agreement covering rates, project scope, confidentiality, payment terms, and working expectations. We keep things professional and transparent.
